I need to replace the drive shaft u-joints on my 79 spitfire. Out of curiosity, I called two local repair places, and both of them tell me it's about a 4 hour job. What am I missing here? I've done u

It takes a non LBC mech. two hours to look at the manual to find out what end the drive axle is on. 1 hour to get it out. 30 mins to rework the stuff he messed up removing it. 15 mins. to swap out th

It would probably take me 4 hours... If it is an overdrive car, it is very hard to unbolt the front end of the shaft without having to get at it from above. Also, you have to remove the exhaust. One
