I need to replace the drive shaft u-joints on my 79 spitfire. Out of curiosity, I called two local repair places, and both of them tell me it's about a 4 hour job. What am I missing here? I've done u-joints before, but not on a spitfire. Seems to me you take off a few bolts on each end of the drive shaft, remove it, replace the u-joints, put it back on. Why are the 'pros' telling me 4 hours. It make me think there is something much more going on here. Brad Richardson Portland, Oregon |
