If all else fails, remove the head, then you can get to the bolts a lot easier. That's a last resort, though - I have seen the manifolds removed with thin-walled sockets and several "wiggly things"

That's the correct Triumph nut. Don't go blaming a DPO so quickly. Work with a combination wrench and you can get to the nuts from behind the manifold. All are accessable, it just takes some creativi

Hi Gary, The only way I found to get at these nuts on a 1500 was by using a thin walled 9/16 socket with 3/8 drive. I had to buy a new bar with a knuckle joint at one end - not included in the stand
