Fred, I assume you are talking about the twin SU carbs. I am not at home right now so I don't have any reference books handy, but I believe that since there is only one place that the cable is attach

My ZS carb choke cable was too short. (it worked temporarily, the housing stretched tight as a drum, the distance from the fire-wall to the rear SU). I think my current choke cable came from a TR6. B

On my 68 Mk III, the choke cable comes through the same hole in the firewall as the heater valve cable in a split/dual tube affair. The hole is located by the battery box. ___________________________
