When I rebuilt my 1500 engine I got a slightly hotter cam. I think it was for a I also got the bearings for it and they went right in without doing anything to the block

There is a proper tool to remove seals. It is a flat bar in the shape of a 'T' , with sharp 'hooked' points on the short ends. It works great. Grant Buss

My wife made a pocket in the end of a large towel. The pocket fits over the head rest and keeps the seat covered. The ones we use started out black and they are now very bleached out.

When replacing the front wheel bearings do you have to make sure there is no grease on the inside of the bearing where it comes in contact with the stub axial?

I just put an after market cam in my '78 Spitfire. It said on the box the cam was for a Mk.3 and I ordered standard Mk.3 cam bearings. The machine shop just pressed the bearings in, no boring.

This sounds dumb at first but--. Get #1 at top dead centre. Now you can check ether 1,2,3 and 5 or 4,6, 7 and 8. Next turn the crank one revolution and check the ones you could not get before. I use
