- I also have the Ignitor and like it a lot. It came with the car. A couple of things. 1. Late 70s cars have 6 volt coils instead of 12, and are ballasted. I don't think the ignitor wants that. However

- How I did it was to back the nut to the end and then put a jack stand under it right next to the connection, they lower the car a bit so there is positive pressure on it. Then with a Big -ah- hammer
