Last year I brought up a web site of the 100 year anniversary of my 
grandparents. We
had a big family reunion and such. Everyone sent me pictures and I put 
them together.

I couldn't have managed with a graphic program doing it myself. I used 
pnm to automatically
resize. The gimp is nice but bringing up pictures to the screen of any 
of these programs takes
too much time.

Since it's command line I don't think there is a Windows version.
