I thought ALL the bolts on the GB engine were INCH. I had the same problem with the camshaft nut. Soaked it well with "blaster" then used a "6" pt socket and an air impact wrench. Worked well.....tr

For what it's worth, we've had our '66 MGB for 22 years now and it's been fitted with a plastic fan for the entire time. I agree with one respondant that the fan has a "truer" airfoil than the metal

I haven't rebuilt any distributors but, if the bushing is brass or bronze, they should be available from any tool or industrial bearing supplier. If you measure the OD and ID, I'll do some research
