- I see the washer, but it appears to be bent back into a recess in the pulley rather than over the bolt. So the bolt should come out, but doesn't seem to want to move. Perhaps I should try applying so

- Hi Bernie, I think that could be your problem. You have to ensure that the loop in the end of the points spring only makes contact with the wire to the Terminal and the orange wire to the condenser.
