- Some Fords also used lash caps. Would be even easier to use them. Just turn the valve stem at the end a smaller diameter that would allow the lash cap to fit. They are hardened and if one ever gets

- It all depends on what you want your engine to do. A dual plane manifold separates the intake charge from every other cylinder in the firing order. This gives the carb a better 'signal' for drawing
