- Greetings All! Last lear when returning from Europe in the PA, one of the little clutch adjustment screws sheared off at the lock nut. We replaced it and re-lined the clutch and set everyting up OK.

- Although I am not familiar with the PA it seems to me that you could use grade 8 hardware of the same profile that you have. Possible you have grade 2 or 4 installed now. Grade eight is very strong.

- Should it happen again, next time drop a magnet tied on a string into the inspection cover to retrieve the screw. Sometimes you might have to spin the flywheel on the starter to get the screw to move

- Hi Jack, I recommend hexagon screw. Very easy to adjust. By the way I tell you my experiences about clutch. My PB Airline always had clutch judder - 3 miles after careful adjustment, judder occured.

- Use Allen screws (socket head). They are high tensile and adjustable from the side with an Allen key. I got some a while ago for TA Terry - if you want I'll see if the fastener place still has them.

- A few months ago my fastener supplier moved and so un-earthed a bunch of BSF surplus bolts/screws. I bought the lot. Many 5/16" and 3/8" BSF Allen head screws and also straight set screws. Some 1/4"

- Thanks, I have a reproduced set of the Factory information sheets and a copy of Greens book. As I recall I convinced myself that I have the correct (late) clutch parts with a thicker driven plate. S
