Jack Use Allen screws (socket head). They are high tensile and adjustable from the side with an Allen key. I got some a while ago for TA Terry - if you want I'll see if the fastener place still has them. Size is 1/4 BSF X 1" long. I don't believe the screws need to be hardened: we've been using Allen screws as above in our clutch for 30 years.
