The M6 and 1/4-28 must have a very close TP and size. The M6 really felt right but it was a test fit and process of elimination. I wish I would of had the conical point though, it was a "blind" job a

I'm no expert on screws, but "M6" is 6mm nominal diameter, so that's 0.236" versus 0.25" for the "1/4". On the 28 NF TP versus metric TP issue, I won't venture a guess. - Bob -- R.W. Mann & Company,

How about a Rule of thumb that away from the motor.. most of the screws & bolts on the cars are "SAE" measurements and threads, not metric.. Am I on track with this ROT? my '69 2000 headrest screws a
