How about a Rule of thumb that away from the motor.. most of the screws & 
bolts on the cars are "SAE" measurements and threads, not metric..  Am I on 
track 
with this ROT?
my '69 2000 headrest screws are #3 phillips, 5/8".(from an original seat & 
seat cover). I don't have the diameter or threads but I'd bet my brake brace 
Stan nailed it.  BTW it matched the screw that holds the window glass track on 
the back edge of the door.
