- Glad you and Irene are OK!!! One issue with engine conversions is how close the exhaust manifold & pipes are to any brake lines. It is not uncommon to build up a lot of heat near brake components. P

- Good stuff already mentioned on Jet Coating the exhaust manifold. The reason the manifolds would crack was due to mechanics leaving off a little brace that was sandwhiched beteen the engine support

- Bummer on the brake lines, but the OEM ones with that little plastic coating would turn acidic and cause HOLES in the brake line. Might explain why the metal lines were cut like that. You should be
