Dann B. had written a story some years back, perhaps in the Rallye
Catalog? One way to catch 240Z's off guard, was a 5,000 rpm clutch
drop. Horrible on the clutch, but got you off the line quickly. ;-)
Oh, I fitted the Kumho tires (www.discounttire.com) on the Maxima.
I love them, no sound at all. No, I am not doing any 5,000 rpm clutch
dumps either... then again that darn rev limiter is like hitting
a brick wall at 6,6000 rpm (2nd gear... 62mph). Darn.
