- This is the control wire and is there to keep the fan from running down the battery when you are parked. I wired mine straight to the batt. for now. The control wire on many cars is to unswitched 12v

- I can't remember if the stroke is shorter, but the bore is smaller than the BMC engine. The J-13 Head has smaller valves and ports than the BMCs and the heater valve screwed into the head on the J-13
