This is the control wire and is there to keep the fan from running down the battery when you are parked. I wired mine straight to the batt. for now. The control wire on many cars is to unswitched 12v. Your engine will get hotter when you first turn it off and the fan helps to cool it off. If this runs your battery down, I suggest a KILLER battery to go with your atomic alternator. FWIW Marine shrink tubing has glue inside, make a much better seal. -- Philip Erickson |
