My MGA doesn't have a button on the starter solonoid because it doesn't have one; however, it is easy to pull on the cable that pulls the copper bar across the starter contacts. Don Mathis\.

If you want to cut the bolts, a Dremel tool with the 1" dia. abrasive discs does a great job of cutting through. The oly problem is if you can get the Dremel into a tight place. Dopn Mathis

I'm using a Locktite version of vinyl/rubber cement. It comes in a tube and seems to work very well. I apply it either from the tube or with a Q-tip. Don Mathis
