with Marvin, How did you take you valve apart? Where did you get the replacement seal and O ring? This would be a good article. Want to do it again? According to my AMC books, this is NOT repairable.

The valve comes apart easily. You pull the sliding pin out the opening where the rear brake line connects. You have to remove the pressure differential switch first. For the spring, there is a 3/4in

FWIW, rubber used in brake systems isn't the same formulation as utility rubber. Brake fluid may dissolve it or cause it to swell depending on blend. Either way it presents a possible safety issue. G
