I used to own your car and had been repainted prior to my owning it but I believe the pentastar was removed then. I have owned six other SV's with earlier numbers and they each had a Pentastar. Rich

I have used Alumaweld quite successfully to repair the aluminum frame of my recumbent bike. As with any welding/brazing operation it pays to practice. The key is to not overheat the part being repair
