- I am a new TR6 owner. Anything placed in my trunk takes on the distinct aroma of a 2 cycle engine after traveling a short distance. I cannot find any obvious exhaust leaks. Is this typical of a TR6?

- Is it possible the exhaust coming out of the tail pipes is entering the trunk because the rubber trunk lid seal is leaking? If that's not it, I believe there is at least one rubber plug in the trunk

- As Peter mentioned there are about five or six rubber plugs in the trunk and gas tank area. Some of these plugs surround the hoses for the fuel lines. You did not mention what year your car was. If

- Another spot to check for odor problems is the gas tank. The gasket around the sending unit. And also the rubber filler tube, if old can seap gas and cause fumes. Still a vague smell of gas in my tru
