Odor Problem

Greetings:

I am a new TR6 owner.  Anything placed in my trunk takes on the distinct aroma
of a 2 cycle engine after traveling a short distance.  I cannot find any
obvious exhaust leaks.  Is this typical of a TR6?  Any suggestions as to
fixing this problem?
