Hey all. Hopefully some of you experts can provide me a little advice. When I got my TR6 in April my friend and I did the front brakes (new pads, had the rotors cut). We were going to adjust the rear

One possibility for the long pedal travel, could it be that the adjusters need to be snugged up after the drums were turned? Usually if the booster is not operating, the brakes work, but with more p

John, you might try bench bleeding the MC. See <http://www.vtr.org/maintain/brake-bench-bleeding.html> for details. Peter Zaborski CF58310UO

John - there is the bench-bleeding issue to address. But I'm one of those that has not had success with the Mighty Vac. I know I'm a duffus but the SBP (spousal brake pumper) works for me. Rich C.

The SBP (spousal brake pumper) works great....providing the brake pedal is pumped as opposed to the clutch pedal. ;-) i have found that the method described in Bentley's work best. that is start in t

While we're on the topic of the SBP, the process can be made much more interesting if the GAS pedal is pumped by mistake. The mental processes of elimination are truly put to the test in your quest t
