i just got home last night from my first open car race in my sports racer.
and, my first ever race in an open car in the wet. here's yet another fresh
thought on this subject. i was following a formula v in the rain and the
rooster tail of water off that car's rear tires slapped my helmet rather
considerably . not having much seat time in an open car i already have
realised i'd never consider any other helmet than a full face style . now
excuse me but i must go and wash and dry evrything i own.....

chuck.
BTW! the gold cup historics at VIR were dampened by mother nature! but the
spirits of the competitors were not "dampened"!
