Larry - I expect that van has a larger series of trans.

The old 727 was bulletproof, but some of the newer smaller stuff is pretty 
wimpy. I had a friend that lunched his mid-sized Chrysler trans in the 80s, 
towing my MGA down I-5 to Laguna, about as easy a tow as you'll find.

I have a Chrysler minivan, and the auto trans in them are a notorious weak 
point.

Sometimes makes me wish I had a standard trans tow car.......
