Concur on the British brokers. I shipped a Ferrari from merry 'ol and paid in
advance, ~ $1000 for roll on roll off service to Long Beach. The British
broker did not pay the shipping line so when the car arrived I was presented
with a bill. Finally got an agent in LA who was associated with the British
broker to pick up the tab.
If I were to ship again I would not pay in advance.
Cheers,
Dave
