With a mid-engined car, I don't have worry about this much. ;=)
I would lose a rare set of transaxle cases if the clutch blew up.
I did get a little nervous when the Mexican VW clutch in my F. Jr.
started shedding small parts. I put in a Porsche clutch. Now I'm
about to wear my knee out operating that *&^%* German clutch! ;=(
