When I retored my sports racer six years ago, we went with the SW qauges,
white on black, and used mechanical oil pr, water temp and oil temp. The
problem is with multiple engine removals and replacements since then, the
capilaries get bent slightly, and eventually give up. SW makes the same
vintage appearing guages with electrical senders, and I am going for
convenience and durability. I don't need to know my water temp within 10
degrees, I need to know if its overheating or not.
