John -- I actually saw "The Speed Merchants" (excellent book, too, and
Michael Keyser's back in business selling archival prints from the book
-- see ads in back of Vintage Motorsport), at it's "premiere" in the
tiny little theatre in downtown Watkins Glen -- it coincided with a
CanAm/6 Hour weekend. The stuff from the Targa is just great, with Vic
Elford narrating the segment.

Here's another one I wonder if anyone remembers: forget the title (THAT
helps, huh!), but it was a documentary about James Garner's American
International Racing, and specifically their F5000 team with Scooter
Patrick driving. Some great footage of Le Circuit Mt. Tremblant,
although Jim's voice-over is a bit mawkish at times. Great just for the
exceptionally youthful-looking Dye-vid 'Obbs, replete with monstrous
sideburns and actual hair! Anybody remember the name of this one?
