The '74 spider isn't too different from the '71-2-3 versions. What group were you planning to race with? In the US there aren't many that will allow a car that new. SCCA, on the other hand, will probaly let it in ITB or something, but it needs a lot of mods. HSR in the south may let it in the "newer" group, try that one. Good luck!
