I quite agree. I was pleased to see the Larry Park car there, flares
and all. I thought it was well understood that the SCCA Vintage motto
was, "You bring it, we'll figure out a class to run it in." ;=) In my
group, I had one of those "period correct" cars, but I didn't mind a
bit. Except for HMSA, most groups are allowing the vintage FVees and
FFords anyway, so I see a lot of the same cars all the time. There was
also a Spec Racer Renault in my group. It's obsolete and he has noplace
else to run it. I have no real problem with that. Just keep the racing
clean and have fun, I say.
