Vixen 2500 half-shafts??

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what the outer half of the rear axle half shaft on a Vixen 
2500 is from?  This is the "male" part of the two piece half shaft.  I have 
compared the part to one from a  Vixen S2 (with the Spit diff),  and also one 
from 2500M, and the Vixen 2500 part is shorter than both of them by about 
1-1/2".
