The badge I bought for the TR3 didn't sit flat either so I put a nylon was=
her one each post before mounting it and now it sits spaced away from the s=
heet metal ever so slightly where it can do no harm to the paint.=C2=A0 I c=

spring speed nuts on the mounting posts, and the badge was tight with no
movement. But I hate those things.
