Hi,
We are planning some long excursions this year in the TR 250, so I would=20
like to install a cruise control in the TR 250.

There have been two basic options mentioned in various posts.
1) The Rostra unit which is more expensive and seems to require have=20
more installation requirements (for example a sensor on the drive shaft=20
to register speed.)=20

2) The recreation of the Audiovox cruise control, which requires a=20
vacuum canister. Quite a bit cheaper than the Rostra.=20

I have seen articles for installing both, but on carbs with a cable=20
linkage but none with the throttle linkage like the early TRs.

Has anyone installed on or the other on a TR250, TR4, etc that has the=20
rods, levers, bell crank arrangement? If so, how did you make the=20
connection?

Thanks,
Roger Elliott
