Terry: there is a set of points inside each horn. Clean them up and =
adjust them - undo the lock-nut and dial the terminal up or down and you =
should get them to work again fairly easily.

Subject: [TR] TR3 Horn Relay
=20
The horns on my TR3 are less than useless, giving out this embarrassing =
thrush-like warble like I'm taking revenge on some meathead driver who =
just swerved into my lane to cut me off by tweeting at him/her. =20
=20
Take that, you poo-poo head!
=20
I might just as well stick out my tongue at them. Makes the same amount =
of noise....
=20
So, I have solid ground and good current going to the horns. I seem to =
remember having to tune similar horns on my old MGB 45 years ago but =
can't remember if these are set up the same. And I can't remember if =
there's a relay in the horn circuit for a TR3. Since it's freezing in =
the garage here in New Hampshire, I'm too lazy to dig out my electrical =
diagram there. =20
=20
Thoughts, anyone?
