OTOH my late wife was grounded for a month while I was overseas, because of
a failed electric oil pressure sender. I guess you could call it
"failsafe", since it started indicating zero pressure before it leaked
enough oil to matter; but I was sure PO'd when I found I had replaced the
oil pump & bearings for nothing.
