Mark, I agree that electric gauges are possibly better but as a result
of my
experience with the Jaguar, whenever I fitted similar instruments in
later
years, I always substituted plastic pressure piping for copper, a proper
flare at either end, sound locking nuts, new olives and PTFE tape around
the
threads. Seems to have worked this far :)
