There are those who love the concours thing though. Live and let live I

I agree with Mark. Someone once told me that the daily drivers (like me) are
the backbone of the hobby, but we also need the serious councours guys in
there to show us how the cars are supposed to look, and also to set standards
to
aspire to.
I've also noticed, after 20 years of attending car shows around the West
Coast
that entering a car in a competitive judging is good for the car. Things get
fixed which you might otherwise delay. If a lot of things don't get fixed,
the job becomes overwhelming and hopeless.
