Check with Ted Schumacher at TS Imported. I can't speak for him, but I
believe he has them in that same ballpark range.

I definitely agree. Running a coarse tap through fine threads doesn't leave
much behind, and there's a lot of force on that bolt. If the canister is 4"
in diameter and the oil pressure on a cold start hits 80 psi, the force is
over 500 pounds !
I've seen decent filter assemblies (head, canister & all) go for under $20
on eBay ... found one last night for $49.
