You would not want a MG-F, they sell for buttons over here in UK. They were a mismatch of Rover parts bin mentality favouring a 20 year old engine design. Maita/ MX3/Eunos is a well balanced car with the conventional inline engine and rear wheel drive, a joy to drive. This set up still favoured by BMW. My other weekend car is a BMW Z3 2.2 and to agree with your sentiments it is a shame it is not British.
