I'm not sure if this applies to the Triumphs, but on my motorhome, a slow
leak in one of the calipers was announced by the equivalent of the PDWA.
The pressures would be unequal on the first application after being parked
for a long time, because of the leak. Then on the second pump the light
would go out (unlike the Triumph PDWA, the unit used on American cars is
self-centering).
IMO this is a fault that could easily be overlooked otherwise.
