Congratulations - though it wasn't TeriAnn who criticised the "Greens", but
me. While I can't comment on what 'degreed Environmental Biologists' may be
doing in the US (and it wouldn't seem to be all that much in terms of the
development of small-engined, fuel efficient vehicles?) my comment was based
on what I have seen happening in Europe - which is where I live. In Europe,
the "Greens" don't like any car made before 1980 - British, French, German,
Italian, whatever....

I wouldn't disagree with that at all. I was criticising the "Green" lobby
within the European Parliament as being disruptive in that it will not rest
until it has have removed every polluting old car from European roads -
permanently.
