John, I don't have any idea what the majority of this List might say, but I for one have never used sealant of any kind between the intake manifold and head. The way the "goo" is applied in your photo leads me to believe that the "goo-er" may have applied it after assembly; when he found a leak and attempted to seal it. Ed Woods |
