Sorry to hear of your cracked head! I think that is very unusual, I don't
think I have ever heard of a TR3 with a cracked head like that, other than
the web between cylinders 3 & 4, and they all seem to have that!
Your experience with Wayne was similar to all of my dealings with him!

Well folks we were ALL wrong...
It was not a piston
It was not a valve
It was...a cracked head!! ARRRRGGGGHHHH...magnaflux showed
deep crack between intake and exhaust valve on cylinder #4, extended
from bottom of head up through the exhaust valve seat...fortunately
Triumphs Only had good used heads, Wayne even picked out two of
the best, told me to check them out and return the one we did not
use...can't ask for better service than that...
