Hi Randall
My understanding is, it is the size of piston and spring in the accumulator
was changed. I think this affects both the pressure and volume of oil
available to bang the od engaged. Then there are those of us with the J type
and we just have to wait for the little piston to pump up enough oil volume
and pressure at one stroke per mainshaft revolution!! :-(
Here is a good article on OD including an in depth description of this and
other changes! A must read for OD drivers even if you are not going to look
in it!
