They used to have a store in West Saint Paul, close to my place in Saint
Paul, but they moved it out to Woodbury. They have had a store in Maplewood
for a long time, and I get there now and again. I bought my drill-press
there. I believe the company started out in Burnsville a while back as
Northern Hydraulic. They were a small outfit building log-splitters.

Northern is more like Harbor Freight, the San Francisco outfit. Harbor
Freight has had a store in Minneapolis for a couple of years, but I just
found out about it on a Lotus list!
