I did some more research this evening on my leak. I believe the problem is
my water pump has sprung a leak. It was all the sudden, as the car has not
been driven in a couple days when it started leaking. Should I be concerned
with the innards of the water pump? Or should new gaskets be all that is
required?

Thanks,

Adam

Subject: leak???

I was working on my car this evening and found that something was leaking
under the front of the car... it looks clear and slippery? Is there
anything that would leak in the front of the car that feels like a
lubricant? It's not from the radiator and I don't think it's motor oil.

Also, why would there be fiberglass like coating on the timing chain cover?
While looking around I found it was loose and when I touched it came off in
my hand???

I also found some rust underneath the car, some on the body, some on the
frame. What is a good method of stopping it from spreading until I can do
some serious work on it? I found some stuff called "Right Stuff" (Compare
to OSPHO... and Formula #3000).

Thanks,

Adam
