There is a gentleman named Mark Weathers who is producing racing spec front
stub axles. He sells them as a kit, comprising two axles, hardened washers,
grade 8 nuts, and spacers that are fitted between the front bearings. These
spacers serve to prevent the brake pad "knock-back" that is common to
fast-driven TRs. The materials and design are first-rate and far superior
to the stock parts. The only down-side is the cost, which for his first run
