There is a fellow on eBay that sells RUBBER SQUARE CROSS SECTION O-rings made
up specifically for the TR dash gauge set (he also does this for: Jags,
Healeys and MGs etc. - See: (
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2465008037&category=33677).
He did a survey and took existing samples
of TR gauge o-rings and put together a full set which he frequently sells on
eBay for $12.00/set. They go between gauge and dash and are probably a close
match to OE - although I'm sure the professional gauge rebuilders like Mo-Ma,
etc. have correct ones too. Inside all the TR4 gauges I have ever looked at is
a
fragile 3/16" wide, flat 'BLACK PAPER GASKET' between glass and gauge face.
